Artist Concocts LED Robots out of Recycled Scrap Metal

You may have collected by now that I’m a big fan of reprocessed art. So you can only think about how satisfied I am to find Tal Avitzur, a Florida specialist who creates lovely little spiders and sci-fi figures out of discarded steel scrounged from junkyards. His designs variety from scary to adorable, and look like they could come directly out of a small Tim Burton diorama. Avitzur is especially skilled at providing each new bot its own personality—he even titles them: Jigsy, Sentry, Primo, etc. One factor that allows carry his items to lifestyle is the use of LED lights, which he places as sight and radiant minds and hearts. “They all experience like close relatives to me,” he has said of his small robot-clan. Along with the options, Tal Avitzur also creates RGB LED walls installs. These would create for an lovely children's present, do not you think?
