This client found that he would never have to put up his Xmas lighting ever again!  Think about simply being able to modify the shades with regards to the Vacation...red or natural for Xmas, lemon for Hallow's eve party night, bright for Easter time.  24V LED Strip are the best to use in programs like this which implement around 200 legs of remove mild.  If you would like to go for a more traditional look, you could also use the heated bright versatile LED pieces.
